Gordon Rural Action

We are a registered Charity that has offered a wide range of free, confidential, impartial and independent advice for over 40 years. Our aims are to improve the quality of life for individuals within our local community through the provision of a high quality, professional and focused advice and information service in The Huntly Hub.

You can access our Supported Digital Access Service on a drop in basis, 5 days a week with access to laptops, scanners and printers and assistance with any digital needs be it emailing, printing or applying for benefits.

Through The Huntly Hub you can also access appointments with the Job Centre Plus and our Partner organisations provide drop in Advice and Information. Aberdeenshire North Food Bank also has its Huntly unit within The Huntly Hub and Gordon Rural Action assist them by providing help to those in need with food vouchers and emergency food boxes.

Gordon Rural Action can also assist in Signposting you to the organisation best placed to offer advice; whatever your concern or issue.

The Huntly Hub is also the home of the School Uniform Exchange Project where families can donate, collect and exchange school uniform for all the local schools. This is an ongoing and free service open to all.

Additionally, the GRA Baby Bank is housed in the Huntly Hub providing free items of baby equipment, nappies, toiletries and clothing to families in the local area.

The Huntly Hub also has free baby changing facilities open to all.
