How’s life in Huntly for you?

How’s life in Huntly for you?

By Huntly: Room To Thrive on 26/11/2021

Back in 2018, people from across the community responded to fourteen questions to answer, How’s Huntly?

The results of that survey was used to create the Room to Thrive strategy, aiming to make Huntly a thriving town for all. Since then, a lot has been going on to deliver improvements in the town, particularly with key buildings on The Square. But the pandemic has also had a big impact on all aspects of life and changed people’s priorities.

Three years since the launch of the Room to Thrive strategy, it’s time to reflect on what has changed and once again answer…

How’s Huntly?

This time, the results will be used for two key activities. Firstly, to review progress that has been made towards the objectives of the 2018 strategy. Secondly, in the new year, there will be community activities to determine what the priorities for action and investment in Huntly over the next few years should be.

The survey involves giving a rating on fourteen different areas of life in Huntly on a scale between ‘It’s Great!’ and ‘Lots to Improve!’. It only takes a few minutes to get through them, however if you are able to take a little more time to give the reasons for your ratings, that’s even better.

The easiest way to complete it is to fill it in online at www.huntly.town, or you can pick up and return paper copies from Orb’s Bookshop on The Square.

Whether it’s online or on paper, the last day for responses is Sunday 5th December 2021
